Head Coach Gary Biggs
Coach Biggs comes to Hillsborough High School having played High School hockey for Bridgewater Raritan High School from 03-07. During his Junior and Senior years he was an all-state goaltender and in 2007 he went to a state title game with BR and received the Star Ledger Central Jersey player of the year. He played Junior hockey for the New Jersey Titans before leaving for Youngstown State where Coach Biggs was a four year starter, graduating in 2012. Coach currently holds all Ice Hockey goaltending records at the University along with holding the conference record for most saves in a career. Hillsborough is Coach Biggs’ first head coaching position but he is also currently an Assistant Coach for The College of New Jersey.
Assistant Coach John Cassie
Coach Cassie comes to Hillsborough from Randolph High School where he played varsity 1999-2002. He played in two state championships and his line was the top state line during his junior and senior years. He attended Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island and played hockey for three of his years there. He began his coaching career with Randolph High School as a varsity assistant coach from 2006-2010, helping them to win 3 state championships and a Mennen Cup championship. He then moved to Pequannock High School as an assistant varsity coach from 2010-2013. We are happy to have Coach Cassie join the Hillsborough High School program.
